Featured Designer - Daniela Vidra-Sedler

daiela.jpgDaniela is an architect and interior designer with a flair for combining functionality and elegance. Her company, DNVS design inc. is a Vancouver-based architecture and interior design company that offers complete design services from initial drawings to decorating. Daniela bailed me out of a sticky situation when my basement flooded, and as a result we now use every corner of our basement, proving sometimes a cloud really can be a silver lining.

Daniela is from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she studied at the University of Belgrano. She has been living in Vancouver, Canada since 1991. With a BArch. certification from the Canadian Architectural Certification Board she has gained over twenty-five years of experience designing new homes and doing renovations.

DNVS offers complete design services including: architectural drawings for new homes or renovations, interior design, custom-designed furniture, project renderings and interior decoration. A successful project will maximize functionality and elegance while imparting a sense of well being throughout the space. DNVS will work in partnership with you to create a comfortable and functional space that caters to your specific needs and style.

Their most recent work includes projects throughout Greater Vancouver, Whistler, Palm Springs, Buenos Aires and Punta Del Este, Uruguay

Pillow Talk – this event gathers women and leaders in the community for a salon-style information sharing from experts in our community.

Swaps – Invented by Ruthie in 2008, this bi-annual event draws over a hundred women to “swap” their gently used clothes. Attendees get a refresh of their wardrobe with fantastic finds without spending money, with remaining clothing donated to women’s charities.
