Have you…

heard of Bentlily? When I receive my daily poem from Bentlily, I truly believe my blood pressure lowers. Samantha Reynolds is a power house in her actual entrepreneurial venture called Echo Memoirs, but somehow it seems in her spare time she writes a poem every day. Poetry has never been my thing, but her quick catches of daily life, capture me. Why did she decide to do this? Here is what Samantha said "I pledged to write one poem a day. Not to rack up reams of poetry — that was just a lovely side-effect. No, the real goal was to train me to see the world constantly with the eyes of a poet, which means to slow down, savour, take delight in, and note the very essence of the world around me." You can even have a customized poem created for you on this site, an Instapoem. Feeling poetic about Father's Day?...click on Bentlily for assistance.

Our current passion projects

They’re fun, and you’re all invited!

Pillow Talk – this event gathers women and leaders in the community for a salon-style information sharing from experts in our community.

Swaps – Invented by Ruthie in 2008, this bi-annual event draws over a hundred women to “swap” their gently used clothes. Attendees get a refresh of their wardrobe with fantastic finds without spending money, with remaining clothing donated to women’s charities.
